A new Android version will be launched in the market soon , confirmed by Sundar pichai the head of chrome and androids. This time also new version of android has been named after eatable- and its name is KitKat(chocolate).This the Version 4.4 not 5.0.The name keeps the company's long-standing tradition of naming each version of its mobile operating system after desserts.
First this version was going to be named 'key lime pie' but company decided to select another name as very few people actually know the taste of a key lime pie and thought of the name Kitkat. the company went to the Nestle comp. and within 24 hours agreement was finaled.
Google says, with new android 4.4 we would try to make amazing experience for Android users.That's certainly a bit vague, but the statement does line up with earlier rumors that suggested Google plans to use its next Android release in smartwatches, gaming consoles, low-cost smartphones, and even laptops.
To make this release even sweeter, KitKat is giving the chance to win a Nexus 7 at official android site.
