According to The Korean Economic Daily samsung will manufacture 30-40% A8 chips for Apple.Apple may have to rely on arch-rival Samsung for a hefty percentage of processors to power the next iPhone..
As we all know samsung has been manufacturing these sort of chip(s)  since many years like A5,A6 and A7 this year.Apple has sought to reduce that dependence by reportedly cutting a deal with Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) to take on production of future A series processors.
But Samsung is far from out of the picture, according to a story from The Korea Economic Daily.
samsung will be manufacturing A8 chips for Apple for next year and that too about 30-40% leaving TSMC to kick in the rest, claims the Korean news site..

However Apple wanted only TSMC to manufacture and supply its A8 chips but it is difficult to make enough quantity of these 20-nanometer chip, this forced Apple to work with Samsung again.
We know that Apple has tried to break all the contacts with samsung after the Case but Apple had to compromise as Apple knows that Samsung is one of the biggest manufacturer of  gadgets.
